Rick Parker - produktyvusis kompozitorius , paskelbtas ASCAP Jaunųjų Džiazo Kompozitorių Apdovanojimų 2003-2004 – aisiais nugalėtoju. 2002-ųjų ir 2003ųjų balandį jis dalyvavo Kennedy Center’s “Betty Carter Jazz Ahead” kūrybinėse dirbtuvėse skirtose kompozitoriams/solo atlikėjams, kuriose jis mokėsi/sėmėsi patirties iš tokių džiazo įkonų kaip: Curtis Fuller, Eric Reid ir John Clayton.
Gimęs 1978 – aisiais R.Parker jau spėjo pasirodyti visame pasaulyje kartu su tokiais džiazo milžinais kaip : George Benson, Grady Tate, Eddie Henderson, Conrad Herwig, Steve Turre, Cecil Bridgewater, Frank Lacy, Greg Tardy, Mingus Big Band ir Andrew White. Rick‘o Parker‘io grota Montreux bei Berkšyro Džiazo Festivaliuose taip pat tokiose vietose kaip kad Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Blue Note, Birdland, Sweet Rhythm, Jazz Gallery, Blues Alley (DC), Chris’ Jazz Café (PA), Jazz Club (Argentinoje) ir Oliveria Always (Argentinoje). Talentingas trombonistas/kompozitorius studijavo kartu su Conrad Herwig, Frank‘u Lacy, Steve Davis, Mike Holober ir Thad‘u Wilson‘u....
